Warner Bros. has released the first gameplay trailer for Hogwarts Legacy, where it reveals the game's mechanics. Avalanche's Hogwarts Legacy is a third-person immersive, open-world action RPG.
Hogwarts Legacy immerses players in a storyline set at Hogwarts in the 1800s. Your character is a student who holds the key to an ancient secret that threatens to tear apart the wizarding world. Players will form alliances, face off against Dark wizards, and decide the fate of the wizarding world. In addition, by mastering spells, brewing potions, and taming fantastic beasts, players will improve their magical abilities. Players will be able to design their character, be assigned to one of the four Hogwarts houses, and enrol in classes.
Hogwarts Legacy will be filled with immersive magic, placing players at the centre of their quest to become the witch or wizard of their choice. They will develop their character's abilities as they learn powerful spells, hone combat skills, and choose companions to aid them in combating deadly enemies. Players will also face missions and scenarios that will force them to make difficult decisions and determine where they stand.
Although this gameplay revealed on PlayStation state of play, the game itself is not PS exclusive, it will also be released for PC, Xbox one, Xbox series X|S along with Playstation 4 and 5, on the holiday of 2022.
