The anime 'Tekken: Bloodline' will be available on Netflix in 2022.

Netflix has added another title to its growing library of original anime series. It intends to release Tekken: Bloodline later this year, and the series was announced with a one-and-a-half-minute "official teaser" trailer. There is no specific release date or episode count, but the summary reveals that it will centre on Jin Kazama.

Fans were invited to view the new trailer by Harada. If Tekken: Bloodline is based on the games, it will connect The King of Iron Fist Tournament, which includes control of a powerful corporation as a prize, the intergenerational power struggle of the Mishima family, which runs the corporation and the tournament, and the supernatural powers / corrupting nature of the Devil Gene mutation shared by Heihachi Mishima, his son Kazuya Mishima, and Kazuya's son Jin Kazama.

Jun Kazama, Jin's mother, was also a character in the games, and the trailer appears to show her training him as they are attacked by another game boss, the monstrous Ogre. These events will lead him to enter the tournament full of familiar faces — faces who may or may not be wearing jaguar masks the entire time — and flashes in the trailer reveal at least some of the characters we can expect to see.

Netflix continues to prioritise the adaptation of anime and games for new content. Its League of Legends-based anime series Arcane received positive feedback here, and The Witcher live-action TV show has done well enough to warrant a third season, a second anime film, and an upcoming kids show. A live-action adaptation of One Piece began filming earlier this year, and Netflix is also developing anime adaptations of Scott Pilgrim and the Terminator series.

Not only Netflix, but other companies also trying their  hands in this stream, recently it was leaked that Amazon is in talk with Sony to bring God of War series to Amazon prime,  and it is confirmed that Sony is working on The Last of us series coming to HBO.
