Ubisoft confirms The Division Heartland details and says it will be released'soon.'

The Division Heartland was announced by the publisher in May 2021, with Red Storm Entertainment leading development of the "standalone experience" for release on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles.

The title is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal and will be available "soon," according to a newly launched product page on the Ubisoft Store.

Update: The Ubisoft Store page for The Division Heartland has been pulled, suggesting it may accidently have been published ahead of schedule.

According to the official description, "Tom Clancy's The Division Heartland is a free-to-play survival-action multiplayer shooter set in small-town Middle America."

"Play as one of six agents and choose from three classes per match, each with their own set of perks and skills."

Over 20 minutes of The Division Heartland gameplay leaked via a closed test shortly after the game's initial announcement, revealing a 45-player PvEvP mode called Storm and a PvE mode called Expedition.

"Fight together in 45-player PvEvP Storm Operations against a horde of dangerous Rogue agents and an aggressive faction known as the Vultures, all while surviving a lethal virus," the description says.

"In Excursion Operations, complete PvE missions, gather gear, activate alerts, and prepare the battlefield."

The four The Division Heartland screenshots available on this page were also published on the Ubisoft Store.

More Heartland details may be revealed when the company holds a multi-game showcase on September 10.
