Leaked Genshin Impact Alhaitham and Baizhu Release Date Details

According to a new Genshin Impact leak, two popular characters, Baizhu and Alhaitham, may arrive later than most players expected. HoYoverse recently introduced a new major region called Sumeru, as well as a slew of new residents, some of whom have already joined the playable roster.

Genshin Impact leaks typically reveal new character releases months before they hit the live servers. SaveYourPrimos, a popular leaker, has revealed more information about the two popular Dendro users.

According to the leak, Alhaitham and Baizhu will not be available until Genshin Impact 3.6, which, based on HoYoverse's usual update schedule, should arrive in April 2023. Many players were taken aback by this, given that Alhaitham is a member of the Haravatat of the Sumeru Academya in the ongoing Sumeru quest lines. According to the official story, Alhaitham lives with Kaveh, a well-known Sumeru architect who went bankrupt despite building the famous Palace of Alcazarzaray.

In terms of weaponry, one of the most recent Sumeru videos confirmed that he will be wielding a sword. The teaser also shows him fighting the popular character Cyno, implying that their feud will be one of the topics covered in the upcoming Genshin Impact version 3.1. His unusual name is based on a famous Arab scientist named Ibn Al-Haytham, which makes sense given that Sumeru is loosely based on Southwest Asia.

Baizhu, the second character mentioned in the leak, has been rumoured for over a year to join the playable roster. He, like Alhaitham, is a quest-exclusive NPC who appeared in Liyue during a couple of quests. He is well-known as the proprietor of the popular Bubu Pharmacy, which provides players with various sets of items that change every three days. Baizhu is distinguished by his distinctive green hair and a snake named Changsheng that is wrapped around his neck.

Baizhu was the first character in the game to appear with a Dendro Vision, leading many players to believe that he would be the first Dendro user to join the roster. Even though no official information is available, fans anticipate him to be a new catalyst healer, which makes story sense given that he owns a pharmacy. A large portion of the community also expected Baizhu to appear at the next Lantern Rite Festival, which is an annual event held in his hometown of Liyue Harbor.
