The complete PC system requirements for Saints Row.

The complete system requirements for Deep Silver Volition's upcoming Saints Row revival have been made public. The minimal system requirements were already disclosed by the studio back in June, but now you can get a much clearer idea of how well your PC will run the game.

You'll need either an AMD Ryzen 5 1500X or an Intel Core i7-6700k to run the game at recommended settings (1080p @ 60FPS). Additionally, a card with at least 8GB VRAM is required; the developers recommend either an AMD Radeon RX 5700 or a GeForce GTX 1070. As Andy mentioned in a post about the PC adaptation of Marvel's Spider-Man, the game also demands 16GB RAM to operate at the recommended settings, which is a requirement that is becoming more typical.

If your PC isn't quite up to the task, you may get by with an Intel Core i3-3240 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 and a GPU with at least 4GB VRAM, such as a GTX 970 or RX 480, at minimal settings (1080p, 30FPS). Additionally, the game may be played on basic settings with just 8GB of RAM, which is a little more forgiving.

On the other hand, if you want to play Saints Row at its highest setting (4k 60 FPS), a Core i5 12600 or a Ryzen 7 5800x is required. You'll want a graphics card with 12GB of VRAM, such as a 3080ti or an RX 6800XT.

The game needs Windows 10 64bit to run on all editions. So you're out of luck if you're still on Windows 7 or 8. Additionally, according to Deep Silver Volition, installing the game would demand 50GB of disc space and a solid-state drive for any setting that exceeds the system requirements.

The complete list of Saints Row's system requirements is shown below:

The graphics settings for the PC version have not been made clear by Deep Silver Volition, but according to a recent tech preview , Digital Foundry, the game "packs a huge suite of options and each setting updates on-the-fly, conveniently showing the game world on the right as the presets change." Four alternative presets—low, medium, high, and ultra—for Ray-Traced Ambient Occlusion are supported in these settings. However, while having numerous configurations for screen-space reflections, the game does not support ray-traced reflections.

It's interesting to note that Digital Foundry's own RTX 3080 and Core i7 7700K system had trouble maintaining 4K 60 frames per second in the game's open-world areas. Nevertheless, this would not have been the game's final build, and Volition might have enhanced the game's general functionality since.
