The Flash and Aquaman 2 have been delayed over to 2023.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods will be published earlier, but Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and The Flash will be delayed till the new year.

Warner Bros. has announced that Aquaman 2 will be rescheduled for March 17, 2023, rather than December 16, 2022. Meanwhile, The Flash's timeline shifts from November 4, 2022 to June 23, 2023. Furthermore, the release date of DC League of Super-Pets has been moved back from May 20 to July 29, 2022. Finally, Black Adam is postponed by three months, but Shazam 2 is moved from June 2, 2023 to December 16, 2022.

The forthcoming film The Flash stars Ezra Miller as the leading hero, as well as Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton as Batman and Sasha Calle as Supergirl. Jason Momoa will resume his role as Aquaman in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.

While no explanation was provided for the delays, it is probable that the films require more post-production time. The screenplays themselves might be undergoing rewrites, which has been a pretty usual technique for big films.
