According to Deadline Mr. Blockbuster Jerry Bruckheimer is producing a live-action movie with Paramount based on the popular toy franchise Beyblade. Neil Widener and Gavin James are working on the script. Jerry Bruckheimer who’s had a hand in the Pirates of the Caribbean and National Treasure franchises, and has produced movies like Bad Boys and Black Hawk Down.
Deadline says the film is still in early phase, however the possibility of a Beyblade film has been drifting around for a little while. In 2015, Deadline reported that Paramount had purchased the rights to make a live-action Beyblade movie produced by Mary Parent.
