The PC version of God of War 2018 has been discovered in the GeForce Now database, indicating that it will be released on Steam soon.

The game God Of War has been detected in the NVIDIA GeForce Now database, indicating that Sony Santa Monica will release the fourth main entry in the series on cloud platform in the near future.

When developer Ighor July gained access to Nvidia's GeForce Now database, he was in for a pleasant surprise. Nvidia's GeForce Now is a Windows tool that helps gamers utilise the best settings for the games they have installed on their computers. It also acts as a central location for essential Nvidia GPU driver updates.

He describes the procedures he took to gain access to the database on his Medium blog. He found listings for a number of applications, including Dolphin - the Nintendo Gamecube and Wii Emulator, Origin - Electronic Arts' digital storefront, and, strangely, listings for Super Mario Bros. Wii and God of War, which he was curious to see what the GeForce Now developers play to test the software.

In his blog post, Ighor says, "This game is a PlayStation exclusive and will most likely not be coming to other platforms any time soon." "But then why is it here?" The game is supposed to be on the Steam store, but it's nowhere to be seen. Maybe it's a foreshadowing of the game's impending release? It may be, but the following piece of information I received convinced me differently.

This entry provides information about the game on Steam, the major PC gaming client/digital marketplace. While it's strange to see it included, considering Sony's recent history of re-releasing popular PlayStation 4 games on PC, it wouldn't be surprising if it did.
